Introduction

Astbury is a testing parkland course located on  the outskirts of the quiet village of Astbury in the beautiful South Cheshire countryside.

The course comprises tree lined fairways, and unusually, internally, a route of the glorious Macclesfield canal.

The signature hole for the golf course is the 12th which is a strong par 5 requiring a long carry over a ravine from the tee. It is rivalled by the 3rd which is a par 5 in the opposite direction. Water comes into play on 7 holes and the undulating terrain is a good test for your short game.

Above all the club welcomes members, visitors and societies to enjoy the test but to make it something to remember. {Before playing at Astbury do please take note of our Dress Code}

A welcome from our captains for 2009/2010.

Captain

Pete Bozon

Welcome to Astbury Golf Club, our gem of a golf course in the beautiful South Cheshire countyside.

You will see from the History section on the Web site that we have good reason to be proud of our golf club  which opened in 1922, and we are both deeply honoured to be this year's Captains.

Astbury is a friendly club and we pride ourselves on the good atmosphere, excellent facilities and great people that form the club and its membership. But it is the course that is our greatest asset and the whole team here puts its heart and soul into making this the centre of a great experience for existing members and visitors alike.

We pride ourselves in making Astbury a good test of your golf and a good test of our hospitality. Whether you are browsing in the Pro's shop, playing our fine course or having a drink or meal in the Clubhouse, we hope you enjoy your time with us, because you are truly welcome.

Lady Captain
