28 Couples took part in the May Bank Holiday Mixed on May 3rd. With the chilly weather the noise of chattering teeth was the main problem on the course, but clearly this didn't get in the way of scoring. The format was 18 holes of Greensomes. After the outdoor competition, whatever the performance and result, an excellent Carvery was waiting for the teams as they finished - such a good way of catering for the arriving hunger. It was a fun competition from which everyone appeared to have a good time. Thanks to Muriel Fraser for organising. Next Bank Holiday Mixed is Monday 31st May. Apologies that there are not pictures of the 2nd and 3rd places.
