Astbury Senior's Mixed Open August 19th
In a set of results remarkable for not containing any Astbury Members in an otherwise tight finish the winners Roger and Rita Ball ( from Stone) comfortably rose from the pack to record a fine 43 points in a 5 point winning margin - well done to them for an excellent day's work !

Astbury Captain's charity event August 26th
The Captain's charity this year is the North West Air Ambulance and this fun event provides a good source of funds. This event raising abound 875 pounds.
In a stunning score and with a huge winning margin Mr and Mrs Edgley from Alsager had everything go right for them on the day with a fantastic 50 pts winning by 7 clear points. With form like this their current handicaps are surely only a temporary condition.
